Why SideKicks?: SideKicks RVA has been in business and actively working with the pets of RVA since 2016. SJ is a highly experienced, trained, and fully insured and bonded professional with over a decade of hands on experience. SideKicks focuses on positive reinforcement techniques only and is (as you can see in the about Sidekicks RVA page) committed to a life of continued learning, ongoing education, and dedication to making the lives of all animals better.
Service area: Our service area includes Montrose, Montrose Heights, Fulton Hill, Greater Fulton, Rocketts Landing, Shockoe bottom, downtown, Church Hill, Union Hill, Manchester, Oakwood, Fairmount, and most areas covered within the map boundary below. When available, we may be able to service outside this zone for a travel fee of $5-10/visit depending on distance.
New Clients: To become a new client, you must reach out via the contact form to schedule a free meet and greet. This ensures confidence in our services and an opportunity to learn more about your pet before services begin. Before our first visit we will require two copies of entry keys if the home does not have a lockbox or keyless entry. We will discuss the care that your pet needs, and invoice for your services prior to service start. All services must be paid upfront and within 48 hours of our first visit.
Cancellations: We honor all cancellations for a refund or credit outside of 24 hours prior to service. If cancellation is made within 24 hours of service there will be no refund or reschedule option and no exceptions.
Holidays: Most federally recognized holidays (New Year’s Day, MLK Day, Memorial Day, Independence day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Xmas), services will incur a 25% rate increase. Please additionally note that holidays often book up early, so be sure to get your request in as soon as you can.
Rates: Rates are subject to change and all visit and walking rates include up to two pets. Each pet in addition to two will be $5 extra per pet, per visit.
